Well this is my first crack at this. I don't know what will come of all this but hey might as well give it a shot.Early this morning I dropped off Alisha at the airport (4am)and she made sure I did not take any pictures or do anything else to do anything fatherly embarrassing. I wished her well and gave her over into the hands of those in charge. She will be gone for a week on a ministry trip to Belize. My prayer for her is that she would experience a taste of what most people in the world live like and that it would affect how she lives here in Calgary.
We have so much and we spend so much of our time chasing so many things that I wonder what we will have to say when we meet our Lord someday. I know trips like hers profoundly impacted me and have shaped my view of how I see the Bible and how I live my life.
Shortly after that I started off to Vancouver with the boys en route to my sisters place. We had a blast travelling and the boys did an awesome job of passing the time. One que
stion we pondered was 'Why did they call it the Mars bar?' We figured it was probably because the 'Uranus Bar' title was most likely rejected. Thoughts of 'boys' eh!
